Dio-Shield is not an off-the-shelf product, but a well-engineered, modular coating system—specifically developed for the long-term preservation of visible wood surfaces in heavily used interior spaces.

The foundation is Dio-Shield Wood UV – a high-quality UV-protective glazing stain that serves as a primer. It protects the wood from UV-induced yellowing and preserves its natural appearance over the long term.

In particularly high-traffic areas—such as hand and contact zones up to approx. 3 meters in height—Dio-Shield Wood ETC is additionally applied: an innovative easy-to-clean coating consisting of a colorless two-component protective lacquer with a corresponding hardener. It provides long-lasting protection against wear, grease, beverages, colored pencils, and other typical contaminants—without compromising the natural appearance of the wood.

The transition between the protected and unprotected areas is visually imperceptible, ensuring that the architectural impact of the wood remains consistently intact.
